IDCARE

Did you know that the average Australian small business loses $47,000 in a scam incident, and the typical cyber resilience score is just 37/100?

IDCARE is here to change that. For more than 10 years, we’ve been Australia’s national identity and cyber support service, helping individuals, organisations, and now small businesses respond to scams, identity theft, data breaches, and cybercrime. Established in 2014 as an independent not-for-profit, IDCARE is the only service of its kind globally, combining frontline cyber response with deep insights into emerging cyber threats.

Through our Small Business Cyber Resilience Service, Australian businesses with 19 or fewer employees can access free, independent, and confidential support to prevent, manage, and recover from cyber incidents. Services include an Incident Response Hotline, one-on-one guidance from a Cyber Advisor, practical help to clean and secure devices after a scam or cyber intrusion, wellbeing support for owners and staff, and a private Cyber Health Check to assess cybersecurity and privacy risks. Businesses also gain access to a secure online portal, practical resilience tools, and easy-to-follow resources tailored specifically for small business needs.

This free small business service is delivered with support from Australian Government funding, enabling IDCARE to provide independent help at no cost to eligible small businesses nationwide.

IDCARE empowers small businesses to not just survive but thrive in a digital world.
